Many of you have probably heard of Botox a lot. Before choosing the right botox for yourself, let’s get to know the real Botox first. Its official name is “Botulinum toxin A”. It is originated from Clostridium botulinum. It is an innovation to reduce wrinkles and reshape the face to restore a youthful appearance.
Botox is not only helpful for beauty; it also offers health advantages, including:
- Migraine
- neck muscle spasms
- Office Syndrome
- Excessive sweating, especially in the hands and armpits
Real Botox is able to disintegrate naturally with no residual or harmful effects on health. Therefore, if you need Botox for cosmetic purposes, you will need to choose a standardized hospital or clinic, the doctors are experienced in its use and suitable for each individual problem.
Botox is divided into 5 brands as follows:
Allergan: Imported from USA. The highlight is that it is less dispersed and the injection can be controlled precisely. It is a highly effective Botox and suitable for large muscles.
Dysport: imported from England. The highlight is that it spreads well and is suitable for injections in a wide area such as antiperspirant injections, forearm reduction, calf reduction. It is suitable for small muscles. It is active from the first 10 hours and the results last for 5-6 months.
Xeomin: imported from Germany. The highlight is that the molecules are small and not too narrowly concentrated and are effective even in cases of drug resistance. The patient with drug resistance must have stopped having Botox injections for at least 2 years.
Botulax: imported from Korea. The highlight is that it has good results and is economical, but it disintegrates rather quickly and has a relatively short lifespan.
All of the aforementioned Botox brands are certified by the Food and Drug Administration of Thailand. But patients need to be examined carefully because fake Botox is still available in unstandardized clinics

Do not use hot compresses, saunas, exercise, hair drying, or other heart-related activities.
Do not touch, massage, press, squeeze, rub the area that has just been injected with Botox for 6-8 hours as this will allow it to spread to other areas.
